The latest Amazing Race to come to Manitoba is shaping up to be a great event!

Our race will follow the Amazing Race TV show as closely as possible, including pit stops, road blocks, and "flights," but with no eliminations.  For all the times you've watched the show while wishing you could participate, now is your chance!  The race will not be a scavenger hunt style of race, but instead mimic the Amazing Race TV show where teams of 2 will get the clue to their next pit-stop only after they've completed their current pit-stop.  Pit-stops will focus on physical challenges and healthy living.   

The all day race (8am-5pm) will take you to various businesses in Oakbank and Dugald.  With a wide variety of pit-stops, everyone will find something fun and challenging.

Bragging rights may be on the line, but our top three teams will also receive cash prizes.  There will be many other prizes awards for other teams such as the "oldest team" or the "youngest team" (note-min. age 16years old to race), or the "best-dressed team."  Our prize pot is approximately $1000 and counting!

Remember early-bird registration is Sept 29 and final registration is Oct. 10.  The race will be limited to 30 teams, so register today online at the registration tab at the top of this site!

Save the Date. . .

On Sat. Oct. 13, 2012, we'll be hosting The Amazing Race right here in our own municipality. Teams of 2 will race around Oakbank and/or the surrounding area while completing a variety of challenges. These challenges will be related to physical activities and healthy lifestyles. In addition to having a great time, prizes will be awarded. Early-bird deadline for team registration is: Sept. 29, 2012.
